The closed school 廃校

日生（ひなせ）で仕事を終え、少し時間に余裕があったので、帰り道に距離は近道なんですが、時間的に遠回りな道を選びました。
On this day, my job ended early.   I chose a different path than usual.

なぜその道を通ると時間がかかるかというと、とにかく狭い谷の道で、道幅は細く曲がりくねっているからです。
The road curved and narrow.  I take a lot of time than usual.
Had a feeling, I can take a good photo.

しばらく走っていると、木々の間から古めかしい建物が見え隠れしました。
When running for a while,  I looked old building through the trees.

車を降りて近付くと、どうやら古い学校のようです。
I got out of the car and approached it.
The building is closed school apparently.

校舎の様式からすると、70年以上前に建てられたような感じです。
I have to guess, It seems to have built more than 70 years ago.

家に帰って調べてみると、以下の情報が得られました。
I found the following information.

(旧)吉永町立和意谷小学校 1973年廃校
Waidani Elementary school,1973 closure.
※現在吉永町は備前市吉永町に合併

ここはとても深い谷です。　もうこの頃から過疎化が進んでたんですね・・・
This valley is very deep.    I think, The village had become depopulated to 40 years ago.
