この「激ムズ」の称号は、練習中に何度も心が折れそうになり、挫折しかけた曲に与えられます。

今までにロマニーノの二重奏に一回だけ与えています。 　今までも難しい曲は数々ありましたが、その中でもこの曲とロマニーノは格別に難しかったです。

この平和そうな音楽が何で？と思われるかもしれません。

この曲の難易度はモーツァルトのフルート協奏曲程度だと思います 。

しかしこの曲をフラウト・トラヴェルソで演奏をしたことが苦労の始まりです。

このホフマイスターという作曲家は学生の頃から知っていました。

しかし彼の活躍年代がハイドンより古いと私は勝手に思い込んでいました。

したがってこの曲を選曲した時にフラウト・トラヴェルソで演奏することを決めました。

ところが調べてみると彼はモーツァルトの2歳年上だったのです。

もうその時代にはフラウト・トラヴェルソは時代遅れの楽器だったのです。

レバーが6つほど追加されたことにより、

高い音の演奏が楽になり、 半音の演奏も楽になりました。

当然作曲家もそのような機能に合わせて曲を書きます。

なので必要以上の苦労をしてしまったわけです。

まず最初の大きな壁は二楽章の中間部（B） の部分です。

この部分はト短調で書かれています。

フラットが二つ付いている調性です 。

ブラバン少女は「楽勝じゃん」と思うかもしれませんが、

ニ長調が基本スケールのフラウトトラヴェルソにとってとても難しい調性なのです。

運指が難しいだけではなく、音程がとても不安定になり音がかすれます。

そして威勢良く始まる第3楽章はそのテンポを維持するため大変な苦労をしました 。

Why is this music so difficult? You might think that.

I think the difficulty of this song is about that of Mozart's Flute Concerto.

However, playing this song on a baroque flute was the beginning of my struggle.

I've known this composer, Hoffmeister, since I was a student.

However, I assumed that he was older than Haydn.

Therefore, when I selected this song, I decided to play it on a baroque flute.

However, when I looked it up, he was two years older than Mozart.

At that time, the baroque flute was an outdated instrument.

Playing high notes has become easier, and playing semitones has also become easier.

Of course, composers also write songs for such functions.

That's why I had more trouble than necessary.

The first difficulty is the middle part (B) of the second movement.

This part is written in G minor.

It is a tonality with two flats.

If you belong to a brass band, you may think that it is "easy tonality",

The basic scale of baroque flute is in D major. So it's a very difficult tonality.

Not only is fingering difficult, but the pitch becomes very unstable and the tone becomes bad.

私の勝手な印象ですが、前回録音した作品24もこの曲もとても春めいてるように感じます。 ちょうど今の季節にはいいかもしれませんね。 

一楽章はソナタ形式で書かれていて、少々構造が複雑なので、インジケーターを設けてみました。これを見ながら聴けば、クラシック音楽やロマン派の音楽が興味深く聞けるかもしれません。

あと第2楽章と第3楽章は、画面がどんどん森になって行きます。

Kummer writes a good song as expected ~

ニ短調と言うフラウトトラヴェルソにとっては吹きにくい調で書かれております。

現代の楽器では調による音色の変化はほとんどありませんが、このフラウトトラヴェルソは吹きにくい音においては音色がくすむので 、曲の雰囲気に合わせて調を選んでたようです 。　例えば明るく躍動的な曲は何長調で、 ちょっとミステリアスな雰囲気を出したければニ短調やヘ長調などを使います 。

フルートをしている人の間ではそこそこ有名な作曲家です。 演奏家としてもかなりの実力だったようです。しかも楽器製造者だったというのは今回初めて知りました。

私がまだ若かった頃に聞きかじった話ですが、彼の晩年にはもう現在のフルートとほぼ同じ形のベーム式のフルートが 完成していたようですが。彼は古い形のフルートに固執して全く新しいものを演奏しようとは思わなかったようです。 そしてアルコール依存者になってしまい、酔っ払ってフラフラになりながらも完璧な演奏をしたと伝えられています。
