Silvervine マタタビ

みなさん、マタタビと言う植物をご存知でしょうか？

ネコ科の動物、特にオスがメロメロになってしまうやつですね。
The cat get drunk if eat it.

この植物を見つけるのは簡単です。
You can find this tree is easy.
蔓植物で、この木は面白いことに真っ白な葉が発生します。
ところどころ真っ白な葉が混ざっている木を見つけたら、これだと思ってまちがいないです。
This is a plant of the vine.  And  It’s a interesting that pure white leaf is here and there.

マタタビの果実を食べると疲れがとれて、「また旅が続けられる」・・・「また旅ができる」・・・「マタタビ」となったらしいです。
しかし、疲労回復しているのではなくて、疲れを感じる感覚を麻痺させているだけという話を聞いたことがあります。（；^ω^）
Fatigue is lost when we eat this fruit.  We can continue to travel.
This Japanese name is “Mata tabi”
Mata = continue     tabi = travel
But It is not a true relieving fatigue.  The sensation is simply paralysis. （；^ω^）
